What motivated you to get involved with NASS early in your career?

I was motivated to get involved with NASS early in my career because I saw it as a unique opportunity to grow both academically and professionally within an international community dedicated to advancing spine care.

What do you see as the most exciting developments in spine care today?

For me, the most exciting developments in spine care are the advances in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery, along with the rapid growth of robotics and AI-driven planning, which are transforming surgery into a more precise, safer, and truly patient centered practice

What advice would you give a spine care provider just starting out in 2065?

Find mentors who push you, guide you, and inspire you, and when the time comes, step into that role for someone else, always remembering to lead with humility and humanity

How has membership in NASS impacted your career so far?

Being part of NASS has been a unique experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally, opened doors to meaningful opportunities, and allowed me to connect with mentors, peers, and colleagues who have truly shaped my career

If you could leave a one-sentence message for your future colleagues, what would it be?

Never forget where you came from, challenge yourself and inspire those around you.
