What motivated you to get involved with NASS early in your career?
NASS offers an open atmosphere for young professionals to grow and an inclusive environment for residents to learn and contribute to spine care.
How do you think the role of technology (AI, robotics, wearables, etc.) will shape the future of spine care?
Technology will inevitably affect spine surgery in ways that can’t be imagined. Patient involvement in their care will be facilitated by the emerging technologies.
What values or principles do you hope will continue to guide NASS over the next 40 years?
Inclusion, camaraderie, and patient centered approach
